Data Protection Notice (KVKK)

Under KVKK, your personal data is processed, in the capacity of data controller, by the company operating the MetEnd Platform. The data controller's legal name, address and contact details (registered email/KEP) will be published on this page once the company's incorporation is complete.

• Identity and contact information (first and last name, email).
• Company/business information (for corporate accounts, legal name, tax/ID and application documents).
• Profile and content data (profile, listing, message, images and files).
• Transaction security data (IP address, screen view logs, device/session information).
• Legal transaction and request records.

• Carrying out membership and authentication (email OTP) processes.
• Providing Platform services (listings, offers, orders, messaging, relationship management).
• Information security processes and prevention of fraud/abuse.
• Content moderation and management of requests and reports.
• Limited analysis to improve services.
• Fulfilling legal obligations.

Your personal data is processed under KVKK art. 5 based on the following legal grounds:

• Being necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract (providing the account and services).
• The data controller fulfilling its legal obligations.
• Processing being mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right.
• The legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (security, abuse prevention, service improvement).
• Where explicit consent is required, processing is carried out only if your explicit consent is present.

Your personal data may be shared, limited to the processing purposes and in accordance with KVKK art. 8 and 9, with the sub-processors/service providers used to deliver the service and with authorized public institutions. As some service providers are located abroad, transfers are made within the scope of KVKK art. 9.

• AWS — hosting, email (SES) and storage (S3); servers in Germany (Frankfurt).
• Cloudflare — CDN, security and traffic management.
• DeepL — content translation.
• Google — measurement of site usage (Google Analytics); only with your explicit consent, servers in the United States.

Your personal data is collected via the website and mobile application through account creation, form completion, creating listings/offers/messages and during your use of the Platform, by automated and partially automated means.

Under KVKK art. 11, by applying to the data controller you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed and request information about it.
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose.
• Know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad.
• Request correction if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately.
• Request its deletion or destruction under the conditions stipulated in KVKK.
• Request that correction/deletion be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred.
• Object to a result against you arising from the analysis of processed data exclusively by automated systems.
• Request compensation for damages you incur due to unlawful processing.

You will be able to submit requests regarding your rights, in accordance with the "Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller", together with information verifying your identity, to the registered email/KEP or written application address, which will be published on this page once the company's incorporation is complete. Your applications are concluded within 30 days at the latest.
